Testimonials

I put Rebecca to bed listening to one of the Glee Club CD’S , Rebecca had the look of joyfulness on her face. I had not played one of the CD’S in a long while. Sharing music was a great time of connection. The Glee Club is very much in our minds and hearts.”

Glee choir gave my son a chance to work on his social skills as well as a place to express himself, have fun and be accepted for who he really is.

Our daughter is a wonderful, young woman who has Down Syndrome. Since she graduated from high school we have looked for activities and found that there weren’t many activities for young adults with developmental disabilities besides Special Olympics. We saw an ad that mentioned the start of John Mews’ Glee choir and showed our daughter. She marked the start date on her calendar and excitedly waited for the first session. Attending the weekly choir sessions became a very important part of her life. The sessions helped improve her musicality but also her confidence and social skills grew. She went to every session with a big smile and left with a bigger smile!
